How Did We Get Here With Our Veterans

I am disturbed but prayerful for our over 9,000 Veterans that are homeless in this year 2010 and into the new year 2011.

How did we get here with our veterans that risked and some gave their lives for us in a war for oil and found no weapons of mass destruction and they have no homes right now.

Once again America we have got to come together not with money but with prayers for the troops.  This story should have been first page but I found it buried on the back pages with simply no hope for them.

What are we doing that the government don't have time to find housing for these brave veterans?  They found housing in the desert for them under war conditions in tents and terrible sewage problems.  This just makes no sense to me.

These questions can't be answered by me but I will do the most powerful thing I know and ask My Father to give them relief in this new year 2011 and unlimited blessing for now and forever!!!!

We All Deserve a Second Chance

I am a very BIG supporter of my President Barack Obama.  I am very proud to that he could call and say that he don't support the crime that Michael Vick did but he appreciate that the Eagle's gave him a second chance.

I think that is what American's are missing.  A second chance to prove that we can make this country what it was and should be.  We have got to bring jobs and security back to this great country of ours.

We have hungry children and misplaced adults looking for a second chance.

Short blog that simply say we are driving this country into the ground for the all mighty dollar!  We need to pass some bills in Congress that say if  you don't stop shipping our jobs oversea no tax breaks or bailouts anymore!!!

We Place Americans Last in America

I have been watching how Congress was going to handle the 9/11 first response workers who risked their lives and showed us what doing for our country as a civilian was like.  These firefighters and policemen made me proud that they put other's first.

I know exactly were I was when the towers went down and saw the aftermath looking like a third world war torn country but it was the USA. I was afraid but nothing compared to the fear these brave men and women went through.

I have seen Congress telling these 9/11 first responders that their health care and their conditions due to the unsafe air (when it was told to them it was safe) was only worth the bravery for 2001 and handle everything else yourself in the future because we can't do anymore for you.

These people have cancer in the lung and other places in their body and were told that they were in fact dying in vain because they don't have the right to ask their government to help them when they helped all of us and did us proud.  Even when they trusted the government when they said the AIR WAS INDEED CLEAN.

America we have got to stop pulling Americans last; we have got to stop rushing to help other countries when we have sick and hungry adults and children right here in the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

I would like to take the time to tell the first response worker I thank you now and I thank you then.  I pray that you and your families days on this earth are a little brighter because Congress finally are giving you what YOU DESERVE.

The legacy that you have left for me as an American is not a tragedy that will not be remembered by me and so many others that are not even from NY but know that it was an attacked on all of us!

So Overwhelm We Forget To Pray

Lord we are so overwhelm these days we forget to ask that people are OK. 

We are so worried about our homes, cars and keeping what we have that we are forgetting to asked that in Your Son's Name that all is well in the WORLD.

I see today that a HUGE EarthQuake near the Japanese Island and what could happen:
Tokyo, Japan (CNN) -- A magnitude 7.4 earthquake off the coast of Japan early Wednesday triggered a tsunami warning for a group of remote islands and an advisory for the southern region of the country, the Japanese Meteorological Agency said.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake, which occurred 3:19 a.m., is about 95 miles (155 km) from Chichi-shima, Ogasawara Islands.
A tsunami is a series of destructive sea waves caused by an earthquake, and the warning required people in the islands to evacuate from the seashore immediately to safe places.

Lord my prayer is that no harm come to these people and that they will know that you are the One that saved them from this disaster. 

I love you Lord and I am one of those people that are struggling to keep homes, cars and other things to make live better but I am stopping to give you HONOR and ask for Mercy and Grace for the coast of Japan.  I love you because you Love US First!

Walking Ill with no hope right now...

I am a woman that have been working since 16 by way of signing up for the ARMY RESERVE early because of my high school of the test that was given.

I have never taken a break and at 41 this year I was let go from a major bank because I was really to sick to work.  I was being written up on FMLA and had to go to Directors, HR and finally the Director of Policy and Procedures who finally told them to leave me alone.

There is another "unemployed" that is the one that are too sick to work everyday and have FMLA from their jobs until some hotshot come along and tell you are basically in the way because everyday you can't promise that you can show up due to illnesses.

I am someone that has 5 chronic illness with a host of other conditions that are no longer since April 2010 being seen to by a doctor.  I  was on over 18 medications but due to the fact that my husband found a job making half of what he was making before he was outsourced I can't get assistance and having to medicate myself the best way I can.  I have tried to go to work but I was not feeling great before being let go so everyday I wake up I am grateful.  What is the scariest part is that one of the chronic illness is insulin resistant diabetes.

I don't want pity but trying to save a home and raising a 10 year old boy and making sure that he is clothed and feed is a struggle everyday.

I was the"cheerleader" for my family and friends but when you are struggling you know that people will leave you afraid that you will ask for help.  Being strong is the best medicine for you.

There is a article that MEDICAID is canceling transplants, procedures that are making medical facilities to close the public with no where to go for treatment.

AMERICA WE ARE IN SO MUCH MORE TROUBLE THEN WE KNOW!!!

United HealthCare Bill is so needed because you don't know when or why your benefits can be taken from you and your family.

I Know Some Brothers Who...

I am not going to lie I want to know what Wikileaks have to say about Bank of America.  I don't know why that has been so intriguing to me however...I know some brothers that have stayed in county lockup for suspended license that has stayed in jail longer than Assange!

Things that you read being black makes you know how unfair the have and the have not really are and the distance for justice.

Here is a man that has all these secrets that he is letting out and has a sexual assault against him and Michael Moore is willing to send him money overseas to help with his bail.

I sit back and wonder what motivates people in the giving they do??

I am Middle America and I don't know now we got kicked down so low.

All I see is we are playing a very dangerous game with ALL our children future.  When I see Huffington Post and see the foreclosure stories I am sadden that Congress is still playing WHO HAS THE BIGGEST TOYS.  (I could say something else but I am saved.)

This is a modern world and we are being so 1800s when we play these games with the lives of the middle-class and the poor.  We need to take a moment and realized that the President can't do this by himself.  We are so high school like at a Spirit Rally about what team we are on.  Democrats and Republicans are getting it ALL wrong and I am tired of this behavior.  I voted yes to keep the Democrats in power but that is my right but I still need Congress to play nice and save people's homes and jobs!
